Jeep – Cherokee and Grand Cherokee, 5.2L/5.9L 44 inch positive cable only #162

Positive:

• Red 2 ga (or 1 ga if mil) with 5/16 lug.
• Fuse box wire with 5/16 90-degree lug.
• Starter lug cover to protect against accidental short circuits during oil changes.  Beware of cheap kits that do not include a cover.
• Anti-corrosion battery washers. Batteries leak acidic fumes around the post.  Use these washers to help prevent corrosion.
• Tin plated corrosion resistant bolts (standard automotive top post only).
