Battery Cable Kit compatible with Ford Gen 8/9 F250 F350 7.3L Diesel 1987-1997, 2/0 gauge, part number 2258Includes:
- Positive 2/0 battery to batteryÂ
- Positive 2/0 battery to the starterÂ
- Right and Left Negative Cables
- 2 Positive and 2 Negative military style battery terminals
- 4 Lock nuts
- 10 gauge, 72″ Start relay to starter wire.
- 2 red and 2 black military-style battery terminal covers
- 2 sets of terminal protectors
- Loom
- 5 mountable and 5 normal zip ties.
Options: starter lug 90-degree bend for stock starters or straight lug for aftermarket high-torque starters.

Best cable kit you can buy for the OBS Powerstroke. I had this installed by a shop in December of 2021. Initially, they stated they don’t install customer provided parts. I made a deal, asked them to check over this kit and if it didn’t work I would pay them for whichever kit they supplied.
Well, they were thoroughly impressed with this kit from ease of installation to how well made and thought out it was. Haven’t had an issue starting my vehicle since this was installed. If you need to replace the battery cables on your OBS Powerstroke, buy this kit. you won’t regret it.
