Upgrade the electrical system on your Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ with this heavy-duty 1-gauge military-style battery cable kit, built specifically for 1993–1998 models with the 4.0L AMC / Power Tech inline-six (also fits compatible later XJ models).

This is our premium upgrade over the standard 2-gauge kit. The larger 1-gauge pure copper cables deliver maximum conductivity, reduced voltage drop, and stronger cranking power—ideal for daily drivers, cold climates, or ZJs with added electrical accessories.

Kit Includes

• 1-gauge positive top-post battery cable with 4-gauge lead
• 1-gauge negative top-post battery cable with 6-gauge chassis ground lead
• 1 positive + 1 negative military-style battery terminals
• 2 lock nuts
• Starter lug cover
• Anti-corrosion battery washers
• Installation kit (8-gauge lug, heat shrink, and terminal for modifying the factory “Y” cable / starter solenoid connection)

Options: Military Ordnance Terminal Covers (red & black) available as an add-on or selectable variation for added protection against accidental shorts and a cleaner finished look. Optional upgraded alternator wire.
