Upgrade the electrical system on your 7.3L Power Stroke Super Duty or Excursion with this complete heavy-duty hard-start kit. Built for 1999–2003 Ford F-250, F-350, and Excursion trucks with the 7.3L Power Stroke 16-valve turbodiesel.

Factory cables on these trucks commonly suffer from corrosion, voltage drop, and hard starting. This kit uses a 3/0 battery-to-starter cable for maximum cranking current—the preferred choice for cold climates, snowplows, and heavy-use trucks.

Why 3/0?
2/0 (#2298) is the standard upgrade. This 3/0 hard-start kit puts a larger cable on the starter circuit for lower voltage drop and stronger cranking in extreme conditions.
