Upgrade the electrical system on your OBS 7.3L diesel with this complete heavy-duty 2/0 battery cable kit. Built for 1987–1997 Ford F-250, F-250 HD, F-350, and F-Super Duty trucks with the 7.3L IDI or Power Stroke turbodiesel.

Factory cables on these trucks commonly suffer from corrosion, voltage drop, and hard starting. This kit replaces the main battery cables with larger 2/0 pure copper cable for stronger cranking power and improved reliability.

• Positive 2/0 battery-to-battery cable
• Positive 2/0 battery-to-starter cable
• Right and left negative cables
• 2 positive + 2 negative military-style battery terminals
• 4 lock nuts
• 10-gauge, 72-inch start-relay-to-starter wire
• 2 red + 2 black military-style terminal covers
• 2 sets of terminal protectors
• Protective loom
• 5 mountable + 5 standard zip ties

Starter Lug Options

• 90° — stock starter
• Straight — aftermarket high-torque (Denso-style) starter

2/0 vs 3/0
2/0 is the standard upgrade for most applications. If you live in a cold climate, run a plow, or have hard-start issues, use the 3/0 hard-start kit (#2266) instead.
