Upgrade the electrical system on your 2nd Gen 12-valve Cummins with this complete heavy-duty 2/0 battery cable kit, built specifically for 1994–1998 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 5.9L 12-valve Cummins diesel.

Factory cables on these trucks are a common failure point—corrosion, voltage drop, and hard starting are frequent issues. This kit replaces the main battery cable system with larger 2/0 pure copper cable for stronger cranking power and long-term reliability.

Kit Includes

• Positive 2/0 battery-to-battery cable
• Positive 2/0 battery-to-starter cable with starter-relay wire
• Left (driver-side) negative cable with 2 wires
• Right (passenger-side) negative cable with 2 wires
• 2 positive + 2 negative military-style battery terminals
• 4 lock nuts
• 2 red + 2 black military-style terminal covers
• 2 sets of terminal protector washers
• Protective loom
• 5 mountable + 5 standard zip ties

2/0 vs 3/0
2/0 is the standard upgrade for most applications. If you live in a cold climate, run a plow, or have hard-start issues, use the 3/0 hard-start kit (#807) instead.

Fitment: 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998 Ram 2500/3500 with 5.9L Cummins 12-valve diesel. Also fits Cummins-equipped Gen 2 1500 models from the same years.
