We’re always happy when our customers send us photos of their vehicles and tell us about the cables we’ve made for them.
In many cases, this gives us more information to share with you about the way to install the cables and any adjustments, if any, you might need to make.
Please send us your pictures and what kind of cable you purchased – we like to share it with other customers!
We will be adding more photos to the new website, much easier to do it than before!
A couple of them are below:
This is for a Bronco and we liked the photo so much, we use it on the Bronco page!
1991 Eddie Bauer Bronco
1992 F250 – the factory parts have been discontinued and he wanted some great cables made to replace them.
He gave us a great tip to pass along to about the eyelet on the 3/0 starter wire.
“Just finished installing your cables in my 1959 Triumph TR3A. I wanted a more period correct look (black positive cable with cover for lug and round braided cable for ground.
These cables are available from the usual British Car parts supplier but are replicas of the original cables with the original style helmet connector that slides over the post and is held on by a screw. While Concours correct they don’t provide a good, long-term connection to the cable.
Your cables (along with the tar topper) help give that 50’s look with a modern connection to the battery post. Except for the oops when the first black cable came with a negative post (quickly corrected) everything looks and fits great.
