Upgrade the electrical system on your 4th Gen Cummins with this complete heavy-duty hard-start kit, built specifically for 2010–2018 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins diesel.

Factory cables on these trucks commonly suffer from corrosion, voltage drop, and hard starting. This kit uses a 3/0 battery-to-starter cable for maximum cranking current—the preferred choice for cold climates, snowplows, and heavy-use trucks.

Kit Includes

• Positive 2/0 battery-to-battery cable
• Positive 3/0 battery-to-starter cable with starter-to-junction-block wire and splice
• Left (driver-side) negative cable with 3 wires
• Right (passenger-side) negative cable with 2 wires
• 2 positive + 2 negative military-style battery terminals
• 4 lock nuts
• 2 red + 2 black military-style terminal covers
• 2 sets of terminal protector washers
• Protective loom
• 5 mountable + 5 standard zip ties

Why 3/0?
2/0 (#14317) is the standard upgrade. This 3/0 hard-start kit puts a larger cable on the starter circuit for lower voltage drop and stronger cranking in extreme conditions.
