Upgrade the electrical system on your first-gen single-battery Cummins with this complete heavy-duty 2/0 battery cable kit. Built for 1989–1993 Dodge RAM 250 and 350 trucks with the 5.9L Cummins diesel.

Factory cables on these trucks commonly suffer from corrosion, voltage drop, and hard starting. This kit replaces the main battery cables with larger 2/0 pure copper cable for stronger cranking power and improved reliability.

Kit Includes

• 2/0 positive battery-to-starter cable
• 2/0 negative battery-to-block cable with lead
• 1 positive + 1 negative military-style battery terminal
• 2 lock nuts
• 1 red + 1 black military-style terminal cover
• 1 set of terminal protector washers
• Protective loom
• 5 mountable + 5 standard zip ties
• Ring terminals to connect the relay wire

Important: Reuse the factory starter-relay wires. Ring terminals are included for that connection.

2/0 vs 3/0
2/0 is the standard upgrade for most applications. If you live in a cold climate, run a plow, or have hard-start issues, use the 3/0 hard-start kit (#6557) instead.
