Hopefully you've found this page because you are looking for battery cables for a Ford Diesel F-250 or F-350. What's New: Optional Longer Fuse Block Wire for newer trucks: The positive cable for the early 90s trucks used a 115 inch long, one-piece cable with a 20 inch fuse box wire. However later trucks had a fuse block wire that quite a bit longer - about 34 inches. I have added the longer wire as an option although I don't know what years those were used. (I originally made the change for a customer with a 1997). A customer called me with that information once but unfortunately, I misplaced it. If you know what years use which cables, please email me. Optional 3/0 Starter wire: Some customers have asked me for a 3/0 starter wire for very cold climates were every little bit helps. It's now am option when ordering cables. Military Style Terminals: Yet other customers asked for sets using military battery terminals. Using these terminals allows one to add as many electrical accessories as one wants. They also have the advantage of being able to replace just the terminals and not the entire cable. The down side is you must make sure that the bolts remain tight and covers are not available. Item Description: This item has become our most popular item. We are working hard to keep these built and in stock so we can ship them right away. Our goal is to be able to ship all F250/F350 cables within 1 week. I got the dimensions by measuring a set of cables from a 1990 F250 that a customers sent to me. I don't know what other years these will fit. Please measure your cables and make sure these will fit before ordering. The negative cables replace the following Ford part numbers: Stock negative cables are 1/0 with #10 gauge chassis grounds. Our negative cables are a heavier 2/0 with #4 gauge chassis grounds. The stock positive cable uses 1/0 for the crossover, 2/0 for the starter and #6 for the fuse block. We use 2/0 for the crossover, 2/0 for the starter and #4 for the fuse block. The heavier gauge wire reduces resistance and might make starting a little easier. We build our cables using cast copper battery terminals crimped on to SAE SGT battery cable using a 12 ton hydraulic crimper. Then we seal the connection with heavy wall adhesive lined heat shrink. Anti-corrosion bolts and battery washers are included. We make the fuse block and chassis ground wires about 3 inches longer than stock since the #4 is not as flexible as the tiny wire the factory uses. Please measure your cables and make sure these are correct before ordering. We continue to be 3 weeks or more behind in filling orders. Therfore, I have disabled the "add to cart" button on the Dodge and Ford sets. These are large complicated cables that are very time consuming to build. I will start selling them again when I get reasonably caught up and have 5 or more of these sets in stock, . I am sorry That I have to take this necessary step but I refuse to take orders that I don't think I can fill in a timely manner (ie less than 30 days). I hope to begin selling these again by Jan 31, 2009.
