Hopefully, you've found this page because you are looking for battery cables for a Dodge 2500 with the 5.9L Diesel. 

I got the dimensions for these cables from a customer who ordered cables for a 1997 with the 5.9L.  He requested the one piece positive cable instead of the two cables used in the factory set up.  The one piece design has the advantage of begin a continuous cable creating a better connection than the bolt together solution.  The customer said the cables worked excellent for his truck. 

The cables are built from 2/0 ("two-aught") cable for the starter and engine block grounds.  After we crimp the cast copper terminals with a 12 ton hydraulic crimper, we seal the connection with heavy wall adhesive lined heat shrink which helps prevent battery acid and acid fumes from corroding the cables.  Cables are shipped with anti-corrosion battery washers, nuts and bolts with an anti-corrosion plating.

  Replace the 55 inch 2/0 starter cable with optional larger 3/0 starter wire. Note:  The 3/0 is thicker than stock and may be more difficult to route.  The 3/0 starter lug is also larger.  Minor modification may ne needed to get it to fit properly.    $16.00

  Add a pair of battery terminal covers to the positive cable.  $12.00 for both covers required for positive cable.

  Add a battery terminal cover to the negative cable.  $4.00 each installed.  (1 required for each negative cable).

  Add starter lug cover (red only).       $3.00 ea  

Substitute longer anticorrosion bolt. (1.375 inch long - 1/8 longer than standard) Free with purchase.
